Divert your calls to Marta

Keep your business number. Calls you can't answer go to your Marta, and you get a job sheet a few seconds after the caller hangs up. Setting it up takes one code typed into your phone.

Get your divert code

We send it when your account is set up. The number shown is an example.
When should calls go to Marta?

Type this into your phone's keypad, then press call

**004*01174960123*11*20#
Dial it now

Covers unanswered, busy and no-signal calls in one go.

To switch it off ##002#

Set it up on a mobile

  1. Dial the code

Open your phone's keypad, type the code exactly as shown, including the stars and the hash, and press call.

  2. Wait for the confirmation

Your network shows a message such as "Call forwarding activated" or "Registration was successful". It can take up to a minute.

  3. Test it

Ring your business number from another phone and let it ring out. Marta should answer in your company's name.

Other phones

The codes work on most UK mobile networks, including EE, Vodafone, O2, Three and the networks that run on them. If yours doesn't accept them, these routes do the same job.

Android
Phone app → Settings → Calls or Supplementary services → Call forwarding. Set "When unanswered", "When busy" and "When unreachable" to your Marta number.
iPhone
Settings → Apps → Phone → Call Forwarding sends every call, not only missed ones. To divert missed calls only, use the code above instead.
Office landline
Most UK landlines use similar codes with a single star, for example *61* then your Marta number and #. Check your provider's help pages, as codes vary.
Internet phone systems
In your provider's app or web portal (for example RingCentral, Vonage or 3CX), find call forwarding or divert rules and add your Marta number. Many let you divert only outside working hours.

Good to know

  • Cost. Your Marta number is a normal 01 or 02 number. Most UK plans include diverted calls to these in your minutes, but some charge for them, so check your tariff.
  • Voicemail. The divert replaces your voicemail for those calls. Callers reach a receptionist instead of a beep.
  • Caller ID. Your job sheet shows the caller's own number in most cases. A few networks pass on your number instead, in which case Marta asks the caller for theirs.
  • Transfers back to you. If a caller asks for you, Marta rings you for a shorter time than your divert, so the call can't loop back. If you don't pick up, it books a callback.
  • Holidays and weekends. Choose "Every call" before you go and set it back to missed calls when you return. Each change replaces the last one.
